Ballerina

I had wanted to do a full outfit post today,but the place that I normally shoot my photos, is closed for the week,so I am resorting to what photos I can take with my Iphone

before I shoot out the door to work, needless to say, they didn't turn out so well.

I did however save three of my favorite shots, and to be honest,

they are they best parts of my outfit today anywyas lol



I have always loved bun, big buns, small buns, mess buns,my husbands buns..........
...oh wait....that's a different post.....

My hair hasn't been long enough to actually FORM a bun,
so you can imagine my excitement when I found out a way to actually manage one.
I love this bun it is so ballerina like and big and pretty :)

New Zodiac Necklace I got yesterday from AVON

Bracelet goes with the necklace, but it drove me nuts the way it was flopping around all over the place, so I stacked some bangles on top of it and  called it a day :)

Prison...Not On Purpose

You gotta love it when an outfit inadvertently tells the wrong story....

For instance,I'm wearing stripes, and the fence behind me is topped with Barbed wire lol

So you would think,

I work in a prison!

When in actuality I do not,

I work in the office part of a factory, and because my two breaks are really all the free time I have, I take my photos where ever I can find a place to set my Iphone up lol

in this case, it happens to look like a prison.....and it's not..although SOME DAYS

it could feel that way lol.

Anyway, on with it!

I threw this outfit together at the last minute, but even so, I go at least 5 compliments on it yesterday....which pretty much made my day!

I just really love this dress, it's very easy to wear, comfy and is great for hiding a

occasionally bloated belly :/

Plus all the different colors in it, mean endless accessory change ups!

The dress with a secret

In the spring I bought these two dresses from Target,

I really loved the way that they fit, but I had to make them work for work and for play,

the top of the dress is a stretchy strapless material,and while It is perfect for hot weekend activities,

I always have to keep pulling it up a bit so that my boobs don't fall out lol

So work, I tuck the top into itself, and it makes a perfect breezy skirt!

So this is what old feels like ...

This past Sunday was my bday,I wont say what age I turned, but I am still well withing the

 "thirty-something" range haha!!

Still, I remember vividly turning 30 like it was yesterday! Time goes by so fast!!

As i do every year , I decided to go shopping last week and buy something to for myself, I had been eyeing this skirt at JcPenny for ever, I really really wanted it, so when I got a 15 gift card from Penny's for my bday I though it would be a perfect time get it.

SO find it on the rack, the last one left!(yay) go into the dressing room, try it on and.......I hated it..

I mean REALLY hated it, you can't tell in this photo, and actually it looks pretty good here, but I swear to you, in person.....yikes. First of all, in this photo i have it hiked way up to my chest, because if I didn't it fell at least two inches past my feet on the floor , and I'm pretty tall, so I wonder how tall you have to actually be, for this thing to hang correctly.

The second thing, is that the lining only comes to the knee and being chiffon, it is totally see through from the knees down, which just looks weird. Sorry Leopard skirt, I really wanted you, but I tried you on three times, and....well,,,it's not going to work out....

I didn't leave empty handed however, I decided on the dress below

Candy Stripes

I have really been into the candy colors this spring.

I found this dress at Target the other day and had to have it.

I do however have a love hate relationship with the high waist line on it.

On one hand I love that it hides my belly....on the other hand, if I turn sideways, the "puffiness" in the front, combined with my prominent junk in the trunk,tends to make me look, well....wider.

So I decided...I  just wont stand sideways.......because I REALLY love this dress...

There.....it is settled.

Channeling the Pin-Up

It has been so long since I visited the Pin Up Girl Look.

I missed it, I really need to do it more often.

Easy Breezy

Finally the temps around here have cooled to a nice 80 degrees.

I was so excited to actually wear pants today!

This blouse is one of two that I have, the othe rone is royal blue.

I always get alot of compliments on it when I wear them, I love them because they are very flowy

and airy, perfect for any type of summer weather.

Paiting it with these Jean Slacks, creates an overall slimming effect,

and come on who doesn't need a little of that now and then!
